Sorry.  More docs are coming.

Running domainjoin-cli gives help text.  But joining a domain
just boils down to running

  $ domainjoin-cli join domain.com Administrator
  Password: <enter password>

At that point, you should be able to run a simple test like:

  $ getent passwd "AD\gcarter"
  AD\gcarter:*:181931072:181928449::/home/AD/gcarter:/bin/bash

And log in as that user:

  $ ssh -o PubkeyAuthentication=no AD\\gcarter at localhost id
  Password:

  uid=181931072(AD\gcarter) gid=181928449(AD\domain^users)
  groups=29(audio),46(plugdev),113(admin),122(powerdev),
  181928448(AD\domain^admins),181928449(AD\domain^users),
  181928454(AD\schema^admins),181928455(AD\enterprise^admins),
  181931056(AD\unixadmins),181931061(AD\unixusers),181931110(AD\ubuntu)

The GUI results in exactly the same domain join result.
