It didn't lock up on me, but it did say I can't join the domain
because of a gdm error. I rebooted, ran the domainjoin-gui again and
it worked. Same thing happened on physical hardware (same distro and
version) to the other Network Admin who is testing this with me at the
moment.  I did submit the error when it popped up.

Ok.

Interesting. So, to limit user access, you'd use like access.conf?

Strangely, when I bring up a terminal as the AD account, it fails to
provide a prompt.
