[Likewise-open-discuss] Install of Likewise on Edubuntu 7.10

Jerry and all-
I installed LWO but was unsuccessful really getting joined to my AD domain on edubuntu 7.10. I thought I would give Hardy Heron beta a try since it is not on a production machine. I am the only user and I belong to the root group. My thinking was that 8.04 is being built to run LWO from the get go.

Here is what I put in the terminal and what I got back:
pwebster at pwebster-edubuntu804:~$ sudo chmod a+x /tmp/LikewiseOpen-4.1.0.2773-linux-i386-deb-installer
sudo: unable to resolve host pwebster-edubuntu804
pwebster at pwebster-edubuntu804:~$ sudo /tmp/LikewiseOpen-4.1.0.2773-linux-i386-deb-installer
sudo: unable to resolve host pwebster-edubuntu804

I also just tried the sudo bash command with the same results.

I'm not sure if this is a ubuntu issue or if this is an issue with LWO. I had thought that LWO was already in Hardy Heron but I don't find evidence of it.

You can become the root user in Ubuntu by running

  $ sudo bash
