[Likewise-open-discuss] Small problem adding domain user to a group

Applications -- VirtualBox in particular -- seems to respond to case in /etc/group arbitrarily:

My domain profile is listed in the concatenated group entries as "DALLAS\liddled" now, including 'vboxusers'.
If I log on as "dallas\liddled", all of my expected privileges are granted, except that VirtualBox does not perceive that I have right to run the VBox kernel driver.
If I log on as "DALLAS\liddled", then I have all of my rights and am able to start a VBox VM, though it results in a stop error (BSOD). (There may be permissions on VBox-related directories that I haven't tackled yet. I'm trying to share one VM between my local and domain user accounts.)
Thanks for your help!

Should be fine. have you logged out and back in again ?
Or restarted the VirtualBox service? Frequently services
will cache group membership on startup.
