No, it is part of operating system. If you have installed everything from
packaged release you probably have all files you need. What you need to 
make sure is whether you have necessary libnss*.so files installed in /lib
directory. In case of winbind (samba) it is libnss_winbind.so, in case 
of LWO it is libnss_lwidentity.so (and the respective symlink) file.
There are also configuration entries that need to be made in
/etc/nsswitch.conf file.
At this point you should decide whether you want to use LWO or Windbind
being part of Samba. It's pointless to try use both of them to provide 
similar services.
