You never actually confirmed for me that the vmware-server 2.0
beta app is not a real 64 bit app. Would you please
send me the output of:
$ file `which vmware`

I'll have to setup the vmware-serve beta. I know things work fine
with the 1.0 vmware -server stable release. Will have to spend
time and see what the beta does.
