[Likewise-open-discuss] id: cannot find name for group ID 751309023

Hello,

 

I have a problem with Likewise/Ubuntu-Hardy connecting to 2003/AD, and I
see quite a lot of discussions about "group name not found".

 

Ex: 

~$ ssh corp\\user at 10.4.0.11

Password: 

Last login: Wed Aug  6 14:54:45 2008 from host

id: cannot find name for group ID 751309023

<this is where it just hangs, but I can press Ctrl-C, then execute `id`>

 

~$ id

uid=751305865(CORP\user)
gid=751305217(CORP\domain^users),groups=751305216(CORP\domain^admins),
751305217(CORP\domain^users), 751309023, 751309107(CORP\itops),
751311189(CORP\remotedesktop) 

 

I see that the AD Group ID that login complains about has no name. 

 

How can I identify this group in AD?

 

I tried mmc, Active Directory Users, but if I look at the properties of
any group it doesn't have any of the numbers enumerated above, they have
M$-style GUIDs, ex: S-1-5-21-403176124-3623299640-127450912-513

 

Any idea on:

-          How to skip the 'cannot find name' error, or

-          Locate group 751309023 into AD?
